A new beret

I am very much a beret woman. I love berets and it's really the only kind of cap/hat that suits me, except bonnets and coifs. So when the blue hood with berry red lining turned out so well I decided to make a beret from that wool. Probably somewhat inspired by Michaela's bonnet and a book on hatmaking that I have I decided to put roses from the berry red habotai on it. Isn't it pretty? I do have a double chin in that picture, but it was the photo where which showed the roses best.
You can also see my expensive new glasses and my very cheap new winter coat (50 SEK, roughly 7-8$).

Thank you. I think it gives me a sort of school girl look from those times.
