Abstract for a fashion conference

I have written an abstract for the presentation I'm planning to give at a Fashion conference in Copenhagen in October. I would love comments on it, especially the language of course. It has to be sent tomorrow, because on thursday I'm having a wisdom tooth removed and I don't think I will be able to go to work after that.
