Defiant knitter

Just so that you know:
I want to knit this. In those colours, with the ruffle. I will make the body longer and the sleeves slightly shorter but that's it. And I don't care if the people at You Knit What? thinks nobody over 25 and 100lbs should wear it. I just say: Watch me!
Someone even said in the comments that those colours never should be worn together, I think they're glorious together.

A re-vamped kirtle

All the new lacing holes are finished and this is how the kirtle looks now, with just a smock under it:

It's a little too tight to be comfortable in the waist now, I had to trim off some there too because of the lacing holes, but I don't have to lace it completely shut there like I have in these pictures. And I could always loose weight of course ;)
