sigh

I got a bad message that will affect our economy (which is rather strained as it is) in a very bad way. It makes me feel down, but I handle that best with just my husband and family around so I don't want any phone calls (except that I need to talk to [livejournal.com profile] herzeloyde).

Sewing something

The best help against feeling down is sewing something. And not what I need to sew for the kids, because while finishing it makes me feel accomplished it doesn't make me happy in the way I need now. And not something modern, because it's too complicated and I have enough of that anyway, and it means bloody zippers. But maybe something totally unnecessary from the 16th century? I just wonder what fabric I should use; a lot speaks for the red velvet, since it takes up a lot of space, but maybe Valeria wants it for her gown. I think I'd better phone her and ask (she's with her dad).

calling armillary!

[livejournal.com profile] armillary, since I feel like shit I would greatly appreciate it if you called A and K and talked about Sunday. I don't have the energy to do anything right now.

The day keeps getting worse

For various, legitimate, reasons the rest of the gang planning to go to Norway to [livejournal.com profile] haugtussa's concert have decided not to go. This means that I will have to try to find some way to go there on my own, which means probably leaving Göteborg one day before the actual concert, which in turn means finding a babysitter for Maja on Saturday too. It will also be very expensive which is even more an issue now after I got a letter that my sick leave will be cut to only 25%, my dole days will end soon and I only got 20% job at the university.
F**K! I don't know what to do with all this shit happening.

ETA I couldn't check train tables because they were impossible to find and flights are between 5000 and 8000 SEK, which is more than half my monthly salary. So that's no solution.
