Disabling myself

I have worked today; I gave a presentation at the Faculty's open day. Then I sorted and unpacked some more stuff from the move plus remade the bodice of an old 15th century Italian dress of mine so that Valeria can use it on St. Egon's feast next weekend and cooked dinner. Since I have to do lots of stuff on or before Monday I had planned to do some more "real" work tonight, but apparently my subconscious thought otherwise, because I had a beer together with dinner and now really can't focus on reading student's research papers.
Maybe it's for the best, so now I can just relax and then I'll work tomorrow.

My kitchen view

I am totally in love with the view from my kitchen windows and I'll show you why. The flat is at one end of the house which means that the kitchen has windows in three directions.

They're taken in the evening and I love how the setting sun shines on the oak wood on the other side of the motorway and on the forest beyond it.
