Spending sunday a pleasant way

I have just seen the re-run of the men's finals in the European Figure skating Championships. I saw it yesterday, but it is worth seeing again and again just for Evgenij Plushenko's programme and performance. It was perfect; so difficult in all aspects, jumps, pirouettes and especially the step sequences which where totally outstanding, and the only miss he did was doubling out on an intended triple Salchow. Not a bad landing, not a missed step. And he still was affected by the flu he got a couple of weeks ago. Lambiel was really good too, but made a few more misses (fell in thE step sequence) and his difficulty level was not as high. While doing this I have been working on my pleated false sleeve for the Tudor. It is made from an almost slub-less dupioni with lavender warp and rose pink weft. It really is a gorgeous fabric. I am sewing down all the pleats by hand from the backside, just catching a very few threads everytime so it doesn't show much on the right side. It takes time, but I'm not in hurry. I plan to wear it to St. Egon , the spring event in the local SCA group; Gotvik which I've heard will take place in March.
Later in the afternoon I will have to look at my notes for tomorrow's lecture on ancient Greece and make some changes. I alternate between reading about ancient Greece and sewing.
My back hurts terribly, even after extra ibuprofen so it is hard to think though.
