hey, reading that article from Aftenposten (thanks for posting that link too, that was great!) do you know if the pleats on the skirt of that little red dress are sewn down or just pleated into the waist? I'm seeing something other than plain herjolfsnes style kids' gowns in my inner mind!

I saw an article about her findings in a magazine called "Norsk husflid" (current edition), and then I remembered your reconstruction. It looks amazing, and I', equally amazed by the effort and quality (not to mention research) you've put into this. I love the result, and I love the fact that out understanding of Nordic medieval outfits are ever expanding.
