Thanks. I am debating with myself whether or bring it to London. But it does take a tulle petticoat and those take up space.

Tulle Petticoat - Travel

I love your new dress-it's perfect for London's change-around Spring weather. Back in the day, we stuffed our petticoat in an old stocking - cut the foot off and hold the the petticoat and pull the stocking over it....tie a loose knot in each end, loose - because Customs will be sure to check it for contraband.
When you want to wear it pull the stocking off, shake it and wear. Save the stocking for your trip home.
Enjoy yourself!

Thank you for the tip. I didn't get it until I got back, but I will leave for the National Historians' Conference on Thursday so I will have use for it.

What a beautiful dress! I just followed the link from Dress A Day.

You could wear the petticoat on the plane, either with that dress or another dress. And wear it on the way home. That way, you won't have to worry about packing it.
