I love your new dress-it's perfect for London's change-around Spring weather. Back in the day, we stuffed our petticoat in an old stocking - cut the foot off and hold the the petticoat and pull the stocking over it....tie a loose knot in each end, loose - because Customs will be sure to check it for contraband. Thank you for the tip. I didn't get it until I got back, but I will leave for the National Historians' Conference on Thursday so I will have use for it.
