A better day - but nothing got done

If you don't count finally joining facebook as getting things done. And the only reason I did it was that I wanted to make contact with an ex from 16 years ago and that was the only place I could find him. OK, I also made he exam for my current students and had a lovely chat with a colleague.

And I got a phone call from the sick benefit office telling me that what was going to happen was not that my current sick leave of 50% would change into only 25 % sick pension, but that the 25 % pension was for ever, while I would continue on 25 % sick leave until we have seen what new medication will do. It will mean less money, since the pension is less than the sick leave, but not the disaster I thought it would be.

Now I should probably start on that article for the NESAT report.
