i tried to introduce the notion of riding habits, but icelandic horses are not into sidesaddling. neither is my friend. unfortunately... no i need to come up with a solution for the skirt that enables some real time riding!? and she's not into wide skirts either... why make things easy for your friends? (*sigh* the last wedding gown i made two years ago was for a five months pregnant friend. there were drastic body changes every weekely fitting session, it almost drove me insane...)
am seriously planning for some knitted details though, and i think i've firmly planted the idea of a nice light weight wool fabric! wool tabby/crepe, shimmering lace knitting and some glimmering sequins and beads... floating down the hill on a white horse in the sunshine... she's going to be pretty i think ;)
btw, wedding is going to be at nääs slott! so i can do some investigations for the 19thC party plans.
