More corset thoughts

Maybe I should use the very narrowly striped (light blue and white) cotton as top fabric instead. It's strong, pretty and easy to sew in. And there's something clean, sweet and innocent about white and blue striped fabric ;) And that's an impression I like to make.

Since nobody sees the corset when you're wearing it anyway - why not go for a jazzy cotton print with silly cartoon characters on it or something?

Who says nobody's going to see it? maybe we're planning a victorian orgy? And anyway, it's the way you feel yourself when wearing it that matters and silly cartoon characters just don't make it for me.

{giggle!}In which case nobody should *care*

When are you goign to get aorund to makignt he new version? How about the offcuts of my orange cotton/silk blend satin? There should be anough for a corset from them if you like the idea.

It's a marvellous idea, but I think I will make the corset next week, as soon as possible. My friend Inger is going to make a corset with my orange/spring green changeable taffeta as the top layer. It is an extremely thin fabric, but with the right backing it will turn out fabulous.

I like the blue and white idea:)

I nearly used a pale blue and floral striped fabric for one of mine. No idea what happened to those pieces... I think I left it because I couldn't afford boning at that stage...
