Tooth update (and new fabric)

The extraction of the tooth was pretty scary but went fine and now I'm home, waiting for the anesthesia to wear off so I can feel the pain. I had gotten my newest find from Tradera, three sets of cotton curtains in indian print that will be turned into a late 18thc century dress. They are wonderful and will look just right after I've ironed and starched them so they get some shine. We also got Tacitus Germania in swedish translation and a CD with swedish infantry marches from a book club we're members of. Unfortunately they had included this month's book (about El-Alamein) that we had said we didn't want so we will have to decide whether to keep it and pay for it or make the effort and send it back.

Cool on the curtains! I hope you're feeling alright. There are a lot of tooth problems on LJ these days.

Surely, if you didn't order it, you don't have to pay for it and it is up to them to arrange for it to be returned to them, not you...?

Yes of course, we will just pack it and send it back. But it's a very nice book club and we like to be nice back and see how they would prefer to have it done. Their aim is not to make profit, but to make it easier for people interested in Military History to get access to books.
