My mother's evening dress

I thought you would like to see how my mother's evening dress from 1936, from Patterns of Fashion 2 turned out. We didn't do a 1930s hair-do because we ran out of time, but isn't it gorgeous?
She made it, not me. I just helped with the bodice part of the pattern. She's a better seamstress than I am, I'm just better at making my own patterns from historical sources.
