Thank you. It is different, but so is my shape these days :) I think it's strange though that people haven't done it more, since it's one of the few preserved garments. You sometimes see rather sloppily done loose dresses under loose gowns, but the only really well done examples I can think of right now are these (http://www.lynnmcmasters.com/) by Lynn Mc Masters. There must be more out there somewhere.
I've seen a couple ladies here wearing the surcoat from PoF but I never asked them what they were wearing under. Since one was pregnant, I can imagine she probably made the kirtle too.
There are just so many people that don't like having their pictures taken that is rare to get good pics of their outfits.
