Well, I don't do this period, but I think this dress would look lovely in Croft Mill's lovely lilac cotton/silk satin. It has the right thickness and weight.

Edit: It's getting worse, not only does Croft Mills (presumably still) have lilac satin, I just remebered that I have quite a lot of antique lace in the same colour and a similar pattern. But I don't even like the dress so it's not Fate. Not!
