Where I've been

After seeing ysabelot do this I wanted to do it too (oh yes, I'm an independent person who make my own unique decisions ;))
Don't be fooled by the map, I've never been to Greenland, the reason it's coloured is that it belongs to Denmark, where I've been.

Yesterday a colleague defended her doctoral dissertation and had her disputation party. It was a good party, I even danced. And not slow dancing, but dancing to "Knock on wood" with Amii Stewart and other disco songs. My hips and knees hurt a little, but there seem to be no graver damage :)

I've slept too little however, so I'm planning to sleep some more during the day.

Wow. Pakistan! When were you there?

I went there in 1992 as a part of my teacher's education. We stayed outside Lahore for three weeks and studied schools in slum areas as well as an alphabetization project among brick makers that was done in collaboration with the brick makers' union.

With the exception of the US, where I live, this was all before I turned 20. Time to start traveling again!

Dancing is good. *nods sagely* Even with a huge belly! Gives belly dancing a whole new spin, don't it? *g*

I can thank(?) the military for most of this, particularly the Gulf War region...
