All the boning channels for the effigy corset are now finished. So all it needs now is 20 lacing holes (one side), sewing it together, boning it and binding it with leather. It should be finished before I go to the Winter games next friday. But I need to make a pair of sleeves from thick wool too.





With the essential tools: linen thread, wax, needle and teapot.

It is interesting to follow your progress. Funny how relative simple pieces of fabric and straightforward sewing can go together and become beautiful things to wear.

I, on the other hand, was naughty yesterday and drank lots of wine and port instead of finishing my victorian corset. But still, there are 2 days left to do this in.
