Wow!

Oh God, the concert was Great! And [livejournal.com profile] seamstrix, he's still HOT!

You can tell a band is good when at least half of the songs they're playing are new to you and it still is one of the best rock concerts you've been too. I don't even mind much that they didn't play "Village girl" or "Taxi Driver".

Now to bed, I have a lot to digest, my body aches and there's a whizzing sound in my ears. I will not mention how my voice sounds.

Hand Me Downs,
I wear my rags well
I mix, match and I make it jell
Just hand it down
I'm breakin' new ground
You'll always find me in a thrift store wheelin' around

The 2000 albums:

12 Shots on the Rocks (2002, a remixed version including more tracks got released in 2004 in the U.S.)

Another Hostile Takeover (2005, nothing got played from this last night)

Street Poetry (2007)

Well, you heard most of Street Poetry last night. As for Hostile, I'd recommend listening first before buying. It's got some interesting tracks but overall I've found I ended up not listening to it not nearly as much as the other two. I guess there's a reason they ignored that album last night, heh. It just didn't really gel as an album. Obvious experimentation, getting used to new band members and such. Fortunately the lineup stayed together, got used to each other, and came out with the beauty that is Street Poetry.

What's that ringing? Oh, my ears. Doh! Little worn out after last night. I'm letting the dog walk me instead of the other way around. :-P
