A good day

This has been a good day: It's the twins' birthday and thanks so their dad and especially his wife being totally insane we still went to their place for barbecue as planned, despite her giving birth 1,5 days earlier. We had a lovely afternoon; they're really nice people and we hang out far too seldom. After we got home I had a bath and then I started felling seams on the skirt of Valeria's new 16th century gown while drinking tea and watching "The Wicker Man" (original version of course). Watching it always gives me a happy glow in my tummy; thinking about how lucky I am to have found my religion (yes, it's a work of fiction, but there's enough of the craft in it to make me happy).
And now to bed, before they sacrifice sergeant Howie ;)

That sounds great. It's so nice to have one of those everyday good days. Vardagslycka, kallar jag det. On the days that aren't so great it's good to have one of those, to remember that life can be pretty neat too.

Say congrats to the twins from me (day late, but still)?

Wicker man is nice. I want to be Lord Summerisle when I grow older (and miraculously wealthier).
