A photo

There are a few things slightly wrong with this outfit: the dress was made in 2000 and I've learned a lot since then, so the cut could be improved, the headwear is probably only intended for unmarried women and was maybe not worn with exactly this type of gown, but with at least I've seen it with gowns of a similar type.
But I think that I look wonderfully late gothic.

I had a good time, but I slept too little and my body hurts so I'm glad [livejournal.com profile] armillary and [livejournal.com profile] emoni decided to leave early and that I could catch a lift.

You look SMASHING! And I love that pose, as you say very late Gothic in style. Brava!

I love the fur! That dress certainly does make a good impression.

The problem with the fur is that it is so heavy that I sometimes get sore shoulders from wearing the dress. Fortunately I managed to escape that yesterday.

That is indeed an amazing gown! And you look fabulous in it! (And the smile on your face looks like you feel rather fabulous, too. ^_^) And those fur sleeves! Very impressive! And I can just imagine how awfully heavy that would be after awhile--oh, the pain of beauty! Sore ribs from corsets, sore shoulders from heavy fur sleeves, sore feet from high-heeled shoes...nope, nothing will stand in the way of looking absolutely fabulous. ;) (Of course, you, my dear, put up with a lot more pain than others, so bravo to you for keeping it going and still having fun and smiling!)

Oh, and when you wear the headpiece, you can just pretend you're not married yet, and if Rickard wants your attention, he'll just have to court you. ;)

Oooh, very nice! That's lovely even to my modern eye. The gefrens also looks a lot nicer being worn on you. I admit, from the portraits, the whole gefrens thing wasn't doing it for me.

You look fantastic in it. I liked this one back when you made it and it's so nice to see it being brought back into active service.
