How did this happen?

I have just stopped thinking that the 17th century is really boring, which I've always thought before. Intriguing, must be "my" 17th century probates.

Lots of the clothing is still pretty ugly, but I'm getting more interested in the history. They were also obviously high when they decided on the currency system.

I'd be interested in the paper you write for this one...I love the 17thC and we're supposed to be doing 1713 next summer at Louisbourg, which intrigues me. Working class, late 17thC, hummmm

I'm going to present it at the Pasold Conference in September - or rather, what I have finished then, but my plan is to write and article later and try to get it accepted by Textile History.
