Adding a jacket and cap

One and a half year ago I made two skirts and a waistcoat, inspierd by sewing patterns and catalogue photos from the 1940s. The waistcoat and one skirt was in a brown wool blend with a small mint green pattern and the other skirt was in a mint green wool blend flannel(I'm currently moving the side pockets on that one, so no photos), both to be worn both with and without the waistcoat. From the start I wanted to make a mint green jacket too, to complete the ensemble but I wasn't sure there would be enough fabric left and I had then not yet constructed a pattern for a jacket. Two weeks ago I got around to lay out the pattern pieces for the yellow jacket and there was enough fabric. I made it narrower, got rid of the collar and made a pattern for a curved long sleeve with two seams and this is the result. I also made another "gay and impudent hat". I think it need a feather of some sort, but I haven't find the prefect one. I may make on from the mint green fabric, something like on her hat, maybe I can stiffen the fabric with PVA glue and attach a piece of wire. it will make it look less like a military cap, though it was a popular style also with civilians, judging from period images.
