Thanks to my darling sister I have today been able to leave the home and to buy some lining fabric. I've been totally handicapped from not being allowed to walk longer stretches - and actually not being able to do that either. I have one jacket and one skirt which are ready to cut, but for which didn't have any lining and a skirt that is finished except for lining and zipper. But I just can't walk to the bus stop and from the bus stop to the haberdasher. Then it hit me that there actually are people who take a car for shopping also when they're not buying furniture, that you can do that and that my sister maybe could drive me to "Stoff&Stil" which is situated a little outside the town. I didn't ask her to drive me to the places I usually shop, because nobody in their right mind drives in the centre of the town.

My sis is a nice and helpful person so off we went: she, I, her two kids and Maja. So I now have lining fabric, zippers in a colour that ought to work, 30 blue buttons that were really cheap and, which was totally unplanned, 1,5 metres of a bottle green babycord with a '50s-esque pattern in black. This is how it looks:

I really love babycord, though I often have a problem figuring out what to make from it; this will probably become a winter skirt.

After fabric shopping we went to my sisters' place and had som french vegetable soup followed by ice-cream for dessert. I had slept badly due to pain and tramadol so I had a little nap on their very comfy couch at the same time as the youngest niece (7 months) slept wrapped in her baby sling on her mother and while Maja played wit her four year younger cousin.

Then my sister drove us back, through the rush hour, and I spent the evening having dinner with Rickard, Valeria and Maja and watchign "Mall Rats" with Valeira, which she (quite naturally, she was one year when it was made) hadn't seen, but enjoyed a lot.
