These days I'm so tired that I can't even find anything to write about. I have been knitting on my cardigan and now only one front piece and the ribbign around the neck is left to to do, btu that's about it. I celberated Samhain last weekend and this weekend I got a visit from two local SCA ladies and their babies on Saturday and did laundry and made a pie and today I've been with Maja to her theatre group and not much more. I can always say that I'm restign for tomorrow, when I have six hours of leading seminars in front of me (student papers on textile heritage). Tuesday I will lead just two hours of seminars in the fashion course, on a dissertation about men's suits.
I'm still on partial sick leave and though my body is much better my mind isn't - I've been under too much pressure for too long time and I will need lots of rest before I will be able to function normally again. I've started on anti-depressants and this far they have mainly made me tired and and sleepy and slightly nauseous, but I think that I'm just a teeny-teeny bit less wound up from stress than I was and I'm also less sad.
I still want to run away and go to London and drink beer though.

I hope you can delegate all christmas work to the rest of the family so you at least can use those days to rest, if work and family things keep you busy in the weeks before that. Fingers crossed that the anti-depressants will work well and stop giving you stupid side-effects.

(if you run away, let me know and I'll buy you a drink)

I love it that you're close enough to even think about running away to London to drink beer. It's the kind of thing we North Americans of average means can only dream about :)

If I may ask, do you have fibromyalgia? I have a couple friends who suffer and sometimes what you describe sounds similar. I hope you recover this episode soon.

I have psoriatic arthritis, but probably not fibromyalgia, though they often occur together.

It's a year since you were in London drinking beer. It would be nice to do it again. xxxx
