And it's finished!

Finally my intarsia knit sailor sweater is finished. I surprisingly ran out of yarn last Friday so I couldn't work on it until yesterday, when new yarn arrived in the mail. My local yarn store couldn't get any more until the ned of next week and of course I couldn't wait for that. Yesterday I knit like crazy while watching telly and today I finished it. It's my first larger project made from cotton yarn (Drops Safran) and I like the way it hangs. The sweater has no shape, just straight pieces (except for the armscyes), but the weight of the cotton yarn makes it drape nicely over the body.  I bought the patter from here and it was easy to follow and all the pieces matched up ;)

The "jeans" are so called "jeggings" bought from a Swedish mail order company. They are high waisted and comfy, like, well, leggings.

You are a splendid knitter, I'm so impressed. And it's a lovely pattern.

Nifty! :-) The integrated red bow looks tricky. Now all you need is a boat to go with it. And maybe a sailor cap. :-)
