Re-making

Yesterday was spent re-making too big stuff. First a 1940s skirt for everyday use and then, while watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries I remade a 1920s one hour dress that I made for a theme party that my sister gave some years ago (that I didn't go to in the end, since my arthritis flared up).

The fabric is a synthetic devoré velvet, so it's not high quality in any way, but I think it looks very much late 1920s. The art deco shoes are from Miss L'fire.

It looks very good, and, of course, watching Miss Fisher while you worked on it was the perfect choice.

Your 1 hour dress has long sleeves! I think that's the first time I've seen people ever do that...
