Burn test

My brocade has arrived and I have done two burn tests on the maroon part of the fabric. It does curl away from the fire and  have a smell of burnt hair, so I think we can assume that it is at least partly silk.
it is also impossible to to take good photos of ;)

Thanks for sharing the results.

Perhaps it will be easier to photograph as a worn garment than as a flat length of fabric...?
