You have to go here and see the lovely wooden sculptures from Östra Ny in Sweden. They're from the last quarter of the 15th century and they're beautiful and detailed and you see a lot of costumes in the detail pictures.

i wrote my first thesis in art history on the costumes in this one :)

i would do a much better job at it if i redid it today (who wouldn't?)

Very neat, thanks for sharing! I love the detail work like the side lacing and the pleats in the center fronts just like the Housebook Master drawings.
