I have no idea what this would be called in english. Anyhow, it's a very typical christmas candy and it's delicious.

2 dl full cream (40% fat)
2 dl sugar
2 dl light syrup
3/4 dl finely chopped almonds

Small paper forms (ca 2,5 cm in diameter)

Mix cream, sugar and syrup in a pan with thick bottom. Cook on low heat for ca 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally. It's ready when you can take a little of it on a spoon, dip it in cold water and roll it into a small ball ( ca 125 degrees C).
Add the chopped almonds and stir.
Now comes the tricky part. Getting this hot, sticky substance into the paper forms. You can use two teaspoons or pour it int the forms, using a spoon to stop it from running and helping in general. Then you just let it cool before putting it away in a box to be kept in a cool place.

You can see how it's supposed to look here. I have looked around for better pictures on the internet, but I really can't find any.

I just finished some and now I should get back to cleaning. I can hear in the background that my darling husband is doing the dishes. He shouldn't, I was supposed to do that.
