Going to England, part two

I asked my friend and best costuming buddy Anna if she could go with me to England between the 22nd and 26th of August. I could need some help with Maja, because she's very active and I have quite a lot of pain these days. guyelfkin said it was okay to bring her. It turned out she has a test on the 23rd. So I thought I will have to go on my own, because I had to leave on the 26th because we're invited to a wedding on the 27th (and Teddy won't be home). The Rickard pointed out that I really don't have to go to the wedding, the couple are friends, but not close friends. So then we could leave after Anna's test on the 23rd and stay over the weekend and visit Kentwell as suggested by myladyswardrobe. I assume that would mean staying at her place so it wouldn't be a problem that Teddy and Tom are away, but I don't know if it's okay for you Bess, to have an extra person there. She's very nice and little reserved (at least compared to me, but who isn't?) and very knowledgeable about clothes in the high middle ages, but hasn't got bitten by the 16th century bug yet. But I'm working on it. We would have to leave either on sunday the 28th on monday the 29th then and I wonder if it's possible to get from you place to Stansted?
I haven't asked Anna about this idea yet, if sarahbellems mum and sister are coming over then , maybe it's not such a good idea? I also haven't checked the prices.
So what do you say? I haven't made up my mind yet, because I think it would be a little impolite to tell Jenny and Erik that we're not coming to their wedding after we've already said we would.

Edit:I checked the prices. It would be much cheaper too. Aargh... indecision!

Being at our place when we aren't there wouldn't be a problem - you'd have the spare keys anyway.

Tell them Maja has been invited to England and you have to accompany her becasue she's too young to travel alone....{g}

Feel free to stay - no problem at all. As I said, I have 5 available beds (providing I clear out the fabric bombsite that I call a sewing/guest room!!!).

If Sarah's sister and Mum come up too, then I will have a few more problems unless you have a cot for Maja. Then you, Anna and Maja could share one room, Sarah could be in another and her sister could have a third and her mum be in the Sewing room. That would work then. Full house but it could work.

Easy to get to Stansted from here. I'd have to talk to E about it as he MAY be able to collect you/take you to stansted but I can't promise that at this stage of course. It really depends on what he is doing work wise. Alternatively there is a regular and surprisingly GOOD bus service from the airport to Colchester North Station (and vice versa) so we could easily collect/take you to Colchester and you use that bus service.

It sounds really tempting. Maja sleeps in my bed when we're away. I means that I get a little less sleep than I would like, but a happy baby.
Oh, I can't wait to tell Anna, she's at work and I can't reach her. I will talk to her tonight and make the decisionon when to go in a few days.

Then we would be in London for two days and then come visit you for the weekend.
