frualeydis: (1300tal)

A friend of mine has put up pictures from Kungahälla medieval days and Gunnebo 18th century weekend.
You can see them here. It is him on the pictures from Gunnebo. I got to know him quite recently, and I'm happy I did because he's a great guy. The woman called Miriam on the pictures I have known since 1988 on the other hand.
And these pictures show some of the fighting groups who train authentic sword fighting from 15th century books. And at least one of them has wonderful, hand sewn equipment and the other one isn't bad either clothes-wise.
I had pictures of my own too, but there's something wrong with the server where I have my pictures and web site so that will have to wait. Yesterday I sewed some on my pavilion and during the weekend I made another wool tunic for Maja so everything is progressing nicely with the Visby preparations. Rickard is almost finished with Maja's first medieval boot (apparently low boots are more common than shoes in finds of children's medieval footwear, having a toddler I know why).
Now I really should go to work.
