The joy of having children
Dec. 20th, 2003 07:48 pmToday I, my dad, his wife and the kids have ben out shopping christmas presents for them. We have this tradition that my dad takes them to a toy store and they can choose what they want (within economical limits). Usually this takes place sometime after New Year's, but this time the best time for him to visit was before christmas so the girls got their presents early.
Valeria got two games (real games that you play with your friends sitting around a table) and in our family gaming is part of my husband' responsibilities. He plays all sorts of games: computer games, war games, RPG etc so of course playing Pokemon cards and all other kid's games is his duty and I don't have to take part in this. So now, after working since 8 this morning he has come home to experience the joy of "W.i.t.c.h" and "Bratz - Passion for fashion".
I really love that man, he just agrees and plays.
I'm making dinner instead, which is quite a feat since I was really sick just an hour ago, meatballs and macaroni (our "lunch" from three hours earlier) are no fun the second time around.
