Better picture

I put up a better scan of Catherine of Austria in her loose gown on my site.
I (or rather my friend Kristian) have also made scans from the german 12th century manuscript I use as documentation for my light purple dress, so you can probably expect a new costume in the costume gallery by sunday. I have one piece of trim to add to the back of the neck and then I need to take quite a lot of photos, but since my husband doesn't work this weekend I think it will get done.

I am so envious of all you people who are at a 12th night event right now. I haven't been to an event since september and then I only stayed one day (if you don't count being really, really ill at en event where I spent 4 hours and didn't even eat, in the end of November) because one of my friends defended her doctoral thesis and had a party that saturday, that I really had to go to.
And what more is: There won't be any events until the end of March! Then there will be another in the beginning of April and then there's summer and no events (and a newborn baby). I want to go to events and show off my new garb, gossip with my friends and sing!! Especially sing.

Maybe I should start wearing garb at home or at work so that I at least get to use it :)
