Bored

I'm sooo bored right now. I woke up at five, which isn't too bad, but two hours before my husband gets up in the morning. So I was alone, had breakfast, read the morning paper and checked the internet, my mail etc. Having done that I really couldn't find anything more to do, so I went to bed when he got up. But I couldn't sleep because I coughed so much so I got up 20 minutes later.
It is now a quarter past nine, I've seen the morning news on TV, several times, and I don't know what to do!!!
I can't start on Vendela's green bliaut because I need her here to take measurements and also do some fitting. I can't start on the veil for my flemish head dress, because apparently I only have too small scraps left of my very thin linen. And I don't feel like it really either.
Our medieval group has a meeting tonight and I'm probably going, but what will I do until then? Especially before 16.15 when Rickard comes home?
It's a bit early still (3 weeks left), but could this baby _please_ come next week at least?
I could read, but in the mood I'm in even Christopher Dyer's Standards of living in the later Middle Ages doesn't seem fun.

Better

The day turned out a little better than expected. I had lunch with my friend Bjorn (who some of you at least have seen at festive Attyre and AIPON, the guy in the Ralph Verney loose coat) and so spent an hour away from home. I also cut out a new cotte/tunic for my husband from a very nice green half wool/half cotton tabby (yes, strange mix). I'm going to make these outfits for us, it's the image we used for our wedding invitations and I'm a hopeless romantic. I already have a blue surcoat lined with orange, both wool, but I have to make a red wool cotte, the one I have now is linen, for me and the whole outfit for Rickard. I have some pink wool for his surcoat but I'm not going to line it with vair since I have none, but a greyish white rayon damask with ca 2,5 cm lozenge pattern.
Anyway, when I took out the fabric I realized that I didn't have six metres as I thought, but slightly over eight, which means that with some luck I will be able to make both his cotte, Vendela's bliaut and a kirtle to wear under the maroon flemish gown. This is very good, I have been thinking that it would look good together with the gown but didn't think I had enough fabric since I already had promised Vendela a bliaut from it.
Now I'm going to make some cookies.
