Weird dreams

Tonight I dreamed that I had sex with a guy I'm sharing the room with at work, that my husband got a ferret as birthday present from a friend and that my big daughters and I nearly drowned by being swept into the sea by a huge wave. All in the same dream. All these things are so unlikely I don't know what to make of it.

sewing updates

I finished the wool partlet today, now all that's needed to finish that outfit is the girdle. I used less bright, brass coloured small buttons with four acorns on them this time.

I have also started making trial versions of hose for Maja, but it is a bit complicated because the proportions are so different from a grown up person's legs and because she doesn't want to try them on. I can't pin them either of course but have to sew them before trying them on. I'm making two piece hose without a separate sole and with a seam under the foot, because they are usually easy to make. Since she doesn't walk yet I don't think she will mind the seam.
