Maja woke before six to eat and cuddle some and after that I was in so much pain that I couldn't get to sleep again. And last night the people who live in the flat above us had a noisy party. On a sunday! We did fall asleep. But around 3 Valeria walked in, telling that their friend who was staying the night wasn't feeling well and had to go home.
There hasn't been enough sleep by far, but I have to go to work now.

The England trip is getting very close indeed and I think I will have to do some more precise planning. So I ahve som more precise questions for you.

Teddy: When will you (or Tom) be home on wednesday?

Sarah: What are you doing on Wednesday during the day? We will be in London around 1 pm and have nothing planned until Teddy comes home in the afternoon/evening. It would be nice to meet you then already (and maybe dump our lugage temporarily at your place).

On thursday Anna and I are planning to go to Walthamstow market to go fabric shopping, do you want to come along?
We will also visit Shepherd's Bush with the same purpose either on thursday or on friday. Interested?

Bess: Where does the train go from that we're going to take and where to? We would like to go in the afternoon, say around four, would that suit you and do you know the time table for the trains?

Since neither Anna nor I have cell phones most of the planning will have to be done before the trip or by using Teddy's phone, but we wil only be there in the evenings and mornings.

This is my most recent sewing list, written in the beginning of January. Let's see what happened:

Clothing
A new mid 13th century dress, since I shrunk the old one. Done, and can be seen here
A green hand sewn bliaut in changeable habotai silk. I'm working on it and need to attach a sleeve and the skirt and reinforce the side opening and make lacing holes. Yes, it's going to one of the holy debated bliauts with pleated skirts. Finished, pictures here
Finish the flemish gown dammit! Done, except for the girdle. A picture here
A new 12th c chainse in pale pink linen. Hand sewn.Done, and worn with the green bliaut
A high necked smock, 16th century. Hand sewn. Also finished
Finish the totally insane high-necked smock project On a stand-still, since I can't be bothered to draw the pattern. Yes I'm lazy.
A 13th c spanish saya from red wool crepe. The spanish project is on hold, if not cancelled, and the fabric has been re-designated to a 12th century tunic for my husband
A 13th c. pellote from a purple and light green cotton patterned twill See above. No new use for this fabric though.
A linen shift for my 13th c. spanish garb See above. I may use the linen for a new 12th c. chainse.
Remake a dark teal early 14th c. surcoat (with sleeves) into a tudor gown. Not started, but I definitely am going to do it.
A dark green early 14th century surcoat with sleeves and standing collar for Rickard. Not started, but will get done.
Knee-length 13th c. tunic for Rickard.See above.
A semi-circular cloak from blue wool with a lining of changeable habotai silk in orange and green and an embroidered band along the straight edge for Rickard. The cloak is finished, but I'm working on the embroidered band.
A buttoned hood in light periwinkle wool, lined with berry red habotai for me.Done, and I have a picture to prove it.
A blue early 14th c. cotte for me. Hand sewn. Same wool as Rickard's cloak.Still in the planning stage
A medium green early 14th c. surcoat with 7/8 sleeves in fulled wool for me. Probably hand sewn. Still in the planning stage
A blue oval silk veil. The actual veil is done, but I'm working on putting an edge on it in gold thread with button hole stitch.
A new corset based on the one in Patterns of fashion, to replace my old one made from the instructions on the Elizabethan costuming page. It will be hand sewn and made from linen and silk, not just linen as my old one.Finished and looking pretty. Unfortunately it's no way near as comfortable as the effigy corset was
Take in my "effigy" corset. Hooray! This will be interesting.I've given up on that idea and will eventually make a new effigy corset.
Take in my 18th century corset which also will provide some challenges. It now meets in the back and is a bit loose.I've given up on that idea and will eventually make a new 18th century corset.
Finish my 18th century costume In your dreams..
A new doublet for Rickard. Not on the priority list anymore
Fix the codpiece+canions on his paned slops. Not on the priority list anymore
Make sleeves for my purple dress
And make this forepart. It is still on my wish list, but will probably not be done soon.

Not too bad I think. There is still time left this year. Of course my plans are changed some I will make a new sewing list later.
