The weirdest stomach flu
Jan. 16th, 2006 07:46 amSo, Maja was sick. She couldn't keep anything down, not water, not my milk. And she was sick even when there wasn't anything in her stomach. She threw up maybe every fifteen minutes. I nursed her around six and twenty past six she threw it up. Then she grabbed a glass of water and drank some. I hoped she would keep that, because of the dehydration risk. but that promptly came up around twenty minutes later. She had spent most of the time sitting in my lap, but was still remarkably energetic for someone being so sick, she was with me in the laundry room for instance. Around half past six she started walking around and playing and smiling and even though she threw up her water you really couldn't see that she was sick. Then Rickard and I had dinner (he came home from work at 6.45) and put some on her plate too. She ate lots of macaroni and drank milk. And this she kept and an hour later she had some tomato that I was eating and it was just like she never had been sick.
Really, really weird.
I did get the skirt finished and pleated and have started to attach it. That I do by hand because I like having that control, especially with rolled pleats, and it gets much stronger too. I love the way it looks.
