Finished summary

The english summary for my dissertation is now finished and has been checked by our resident Canadian. If you're not totally tired of it already, you can find it here. Today I have worked some on the abstract, but mostly studied, since I have an exam tomorrow morning.

The early 19th century corset

is coming along nicely. I have learned how to sew gussets on machine and they look pretty spiffy. There are two rows of hemp cord under the bust and four rows at the back, two on each side of the eyelets. I really should have used a thinner cotton cord, but I have kilometres of hemp cord at home and this is just a first version anyway, I mean, it's made from an old table cloth and machine sewn. Not the eyelets however. I have made 19 this evening, half of them. If I make the rest tomorrow I can try it on and see if it fits me ;)
