New exciting book
Feb. 26th, 2007 06:19 pmOn friday I found Marianne Vedeler's not yet defended (but approved) doctoral dissertation about archaeological finds of clothing from the middle ages in Norway: Klaer og formspråk i norsk middelalder (Clothing and the language of form in medieval Norway) in my mail box at the university. I haven't had the time to look inside it yet, but I may bring it to the weekend's event to read on the plane and before sleeping. Right now I have to focus on other things.
The english summary is only five pages long, which I think is a pity, since there may be quite a lot of international interest in the subject. I also can't find an english abstract, which is required in swedish dissertations.
