Ticking off things from the to-do list
Apr. 11th, 2007 10:57 pmSince we're going to the feast after our national AGM on saturday (if somebody has missed that) I had quite an impressive to-do list. Today some of them have been taken care of:
* Baked bread for the feast. The recipe is from the 16th century and the bread is called "schoneroggen", which betrays its german origin.
* Covered Rickard's chinese slippers in red wool cloth so that they better match his stockings and slops.

* Made 7 laces for Rickard with fingerloop braiding in silk yarn. That's what lies next to the shoes in the photo.
Left to do
* 9 more laces
* Attach brass points to said laces
* 14 lacing holes on his slops
* Bake four lemon tarts for the feast
