Jag har nu uppdaterat Nordrikes skräddarskrås sida med en sida om 1500-talsdelen av mitt mästarprov. Ni har ju redan sett de flesta bilderna, men texten kan ju också vara intressant. Titta här.

Yummy, yummy fabric

My navy/forest green shot silk taffeta from Denverfabrics arrived today. It is lovely, dark and subtle, and it will look wonderful with my colouring. Of course, with the 1950s kick I'm on, I'm tempted to make a 1950s-inspired mundane ball gown instead of a 16th century kirtle, but let's face it: I would never wear such agown, while a good 16th century kirtle will be worn many times.

Stupid body!

I jus want to lie down and sleep. That's one of the things that happen when I have a flare. And Rickard has his gaming nigh tonight so I have to stay up and be with Maja.
Maybe I should get some tea?

Good news

herzeloyde is going through her stash and giving away fabric. I came home from her place with well over ten metres of different stuff. Most of it not suitable for historical clothing, but it will make great mundane clothes.

She also some very good news concerning her living situation (they live in a student apartment and can't stay, since they're not students anymore), but I guess she won't tell any details to people before the contract is signed on Monday.
