I've just sent my abstract to NESAT (Northern European Symposium for Archaeological Textiles), for the conference next year. I just hope I will get accepted.
Now I can either read through my notes for Sunday's lecture or start on my lecture for Visby medieval week, which is about how people dressed in the later 13th century (their theme this year is 1288). Since late 13th - early 14th century is one of the periods I've done most, there really shouldn't be any problems. I've already made the disposition and I've found out that I enjoy working with PowerPoint.
or I could sew three or four seams and finish the skirt I've taken in.
In any case, I'm in no hurry. The only thing I need to do is to sort out OH transparents to bring along in case the PowerPoint projector won't work on Sunday. One should always be prepared for technical mishaps.
Since it's not raining today (what??) I also feel like going to the university and see if there is somebody there to chat with. And show off my new jeans ;)
