What? Stupid body!

On top of my body being really affected of arthritis I have the beginning of a cold; aching throat and clogged sinuses. What does my body mean with that? Haven't I repeatedly told it the the start of the semester isn't the time to get sick? I have four new lectures to make before the 19th. Lots of already prepared lectures to hold, quite a bit of administrative work to do, and the 24th I start teaching a course in dress history that I also have to make new lectures for.
And then I give a lecture at a seminar the 28th, one on the Civil War on the 29th and finally one on our own event the 6th of October. The last two aren't strictly work, but will still need to be made.
