...because I was so busy experiencing them. My friend Sara came down from Stockholm, where she lives temporarily, working at the finnish institute. Usually she lives in Umeå, which is much farther away. She had suggested that she'd come down and we'd go watch
Håkan Hellström, a very popular swedish pop singer and composer. It was a sort of free concert, since it was at
Liseberg the amusement park within spitting distance from where I live. So all you paid was the entrance fee (60 SEK, roughly 8,5 $ or a little over 4 quid). That may be one of the reason for the turn-out, they estimate the audience to 17 000. Of course we couldn't see much, but it was still great. And really fun to do something like that with Sara.
Saturday we spent watching
Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets as well as visiting the amusement park again. The day before Sara had bought a book of tickets, but after the concert we didn't feel much like staying, we wanted to go home and drink a beer and talk about the concert instead. So we went back on Saturday, and brought Maja with us. This was her first time and she liked it, despite the long queues, which she handled admirably.
In the evening she went to a pub with another friend and hubby, Maja and a friend of ours watched football on the telly. And then she caught the train back in the morning.
It was really nice seeing her.
