the civil war, in short

It was wonderful. It stopped raining before I arrived. Those who know say the war was particularly good.
My lecture went well and people liked it. After that I sewed and talked with helwig, liadethornegge, ermingard and, for a while, fluffy_badger. I wore the pale pink dress I made for Visby and with plenty of help from litensessa I even managed to get my suit of ruffs in place. The feast, which was planned and to a large extent cooked by cristina_stolte was really good and I had nice company at the table.

I got to meet and spend time with old friends, semi-new friends and some brand new friends, too many to mention all. It was lovely. I got to spend some quality party time with helwig, which was fun and nice. And finally, I got to spend time with a friend who is the person in the world, outside my family, that I love the most; someone I haven't met for three years.

There was much friendship and love at this event.

The only less than perfect things was that the court was a little long and that it is over now.
