It's just not fair!
Oct. 15th, 2005 08:33 amJust because I'm broke and will be for a long time, I found fabric I would die to have like 5-6 metres of. You see, the project that I was working in finished in the end of June so I'm not employed anymore. I have gotten some scholarships that will take me through january if I'm very careful with money and then I will hopefully be finished with my dissertation. I actually have to, because I won't get any unemployment money before the dissertation has been delivered to the printer's (they don't want to give unemployment money to people who don't look for work but spend their time writing on their dissertations, only fair really). So I can't buy fabric for victorian projects (and to be fair I haven't finished the one I started on, but those pleated fronts are a PITA, at least if you make your own pattern after PoF and don't have a dress dummy).
But look at these prefect fabrics: navy and brown, one of my favorite combinations and navy and pink, one of the best combinations ever. That one I would gladly use for a modern skirt too.
