Musical disaster?

I was listening to Teenage Fanclub on the way to work - more specifically "Gene Clark", when my mp3-player ran out of battery. OK, no problem, I thought - I'll just play it on the computer - but then I discovered that I hadn't transferred the album "Thirteen" to my work computer!

But here it is:

Ensembles

Since I did finish the waistcoat on Monday I have now finished three out of four parts of my planned ensemble. I soon found out that I need another type of blouse though. I can't decide if I look most 70s or most 40s, but since so much in the 70s were inspired by the30s and 40s I think that's okay. If I fix my hair properly and make that jacket (if there's enough fabric left, I am beginning to doubt) and get a hat it will be more 1940s.
And yes, I do have new shoes - arrived today. They're all plastic, but I like them and they were only 100 SEK (about 9 quid).







PS. Look at the width of my hips - it's just amazing.

New shoes, another pair

I actually got two pairs of shoes today. These are the other ones:




Also all synthetic and around 11 pounds. I'd like to make a 1920s dress in green wool crepe to wear with them, though the 1920s don't suit my figure at all.
