Moving

Rickard and I have been trying to get a bigger apartment in the house next to ours for a little over a year now. There are only 8 five room flats and flats for lease are quite uncommon in this popular, central area of Gothenburg. Since I have rented my flat from this particular landlord for 12 years at least I had the chance of an exchange and they know that I'm a responsible person. Still, since no-one wants to give up a flat here I wasn't too hopeful. The one chance was that five of the flats I was looking were inhabited but very old people.
And a few weeks ago one of the old ladies moved to an old folks home and I wondered if it was our turn this time. Our caretaker told me to call and show interest and apparently it worked because on the 1st of April we're moving. Yes, in three weeks time. So, apart from going to the Winter Games this weekend all we're going to do is to pack, pack, pack.
