Yesterday's great event:

The tears are because at first she couldn't find the tooth, but her dad soon found it on the floor. And this morning it had turned into a shiny golden coin ;)

Finished bodice

The bodice, which somehow turned out to be all hand sewn, is now finished (except that I might add hooks and eyes to close the wool layer over the lacing. I have started on the skirt, but sewing skirt panels together by hand demands time in front of the telly and today I won't have that.
Here are some pictures of the bodice, it's lining and a bad photo of me wearing it (with a leopard print t-shirt under).

It is boned with cable ties with three pieces on each front, one under each arm and two in the middle of the back.
